The Events Committee has been busy planning our “special events” for the year and hope that you will be able to participate, along with your significant other or friend.
Our 2nd quarter event will be a Sunset Cruise on the 45 passenger Miss Kaylynn boat in the Amelia River Cruises’ fleet on Sunday, June 9th from 7:00 pm to 8:30 pm. The cost of the cruise will be $20.00 per person, and you can make your reservation here. Reservations will be limited to 45 people and will be taken on a first come, first served basis.
Miss Kaylynn has inside and outside seating. She can fit up to 45 passengers comfortably, and there is plenty of viewing room. There is a restroom on board and the boat is handicap accessible. A quick trip to Cumberland Island lets us peruse the shoreline for wild horse. local waters dolphin, sea turtles, manatee, and more. Swinging by Fort Clinch, you get a wonderful view of this civil war era fort from the water as we prepare to watch a spectacular sunset.
Soft drinks and water will be provided, but you should bring your own alcoholic beverages.
Amelia River Cruise is located at 1 N. Front St., Fernandina Beach, FL 32034, at the marina downtown.
Please send all inquiries regarding the cruise to wonevents2024@gmail.com.
We look forward to seeing you on the cruise!
